Controller Check began as a way for this college drop out to have an excuse for all his time spent gaming. As I was looking for reviews on various indie games on discount, I noticed I wasn’t getting the answers I was hoping for. Sure, there are plenty of other gaming news sites out there; but too often they’d prioritize game specs and major releases, over simple play-ability of under-the-radar games.

That’s where we come in.

Anything we play for a substantial amount of time, we write about. And don’t you worry, you don’t have to question our honesty. Nobody is paying us to write about their new release. We aren’t getting a cut of your purchase on that game we reviewed. None of that.

Now that we have that out of the way: a little more about who we are.

Cameron: Originally from Chicago, currently based in Los Angeles, CA. I grew up on the N64, GBA, and XBOX. Some of my earliest memories include playing Smash Bro’s, Pokemon Puzzle League, Diddy Kong Racing and Fusion Frenzy with my older brothers. My favorite game series is a tie between: Legend of Zelda, and Fallout. Also a big fan of Pokemon and Assasins Creed. If you can’t already tell, I’m a sucker for RPGs.
